Services
Work that changes how your business runs, delivered by one person who handles the data, the integration, and the deployment. Fixed prices for defined scopes; hourly for ongoing work. Every offer below is backed by software on this site that is shipped and running.
Reporting automation
Your team spends the first week of every month assembling numbers instead of acting on them. I replace the copy-paste with a scheduled pipeline that pulls from your systems, checks itself against the books, and delivers the report before anyone logs in. You get the week back, and numbers that tie.
- Connectors to your sources: SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, REST APIs, SharePoint or OneDrive files, CSV drops
- Reconciliation checks that stop the report and tell you which row is off
- Output as formatted Excel, a Power BI dataset, or a reporting table
- Scheduled runs with failure alerts, and a one-page runbook
From $750 for a single report; $2,500 and up for a multi-source reporting database · One to three weeks
Eight years doing this for finance and operations teams, from nightly ingestion to the month-end pack.
API and system integration
Your shop, your accounting, your CRM, and a few spreadsheets each hold a different version of the truth. I connect them so orders, customers, and inventory flow on their own and stay in sync, with reruns that are safe and a log that shows exactly what moved.
- Authentication done properly: OAuth, signed requests, webhooks with signature checks
- Idempotent loads, so a rerun after a failure is safe
- Rate-limit and retry handling that survives the other side's bad day
- A log that says what ran, what changed, and what failed
From $1,500 per integration · One to two weeks
Integrations shipped for Shopify, TikTok Shop, Stripe, eBay, and Discord, in software that runs on live sales streams every week.
AI document pipelines
Somewhere in your business a person reads PDFs, forms, or emails and types what they find into a system. I build the pipeline that reads them instead and lands clean, validated rows in your database, with a cost cap and a fallback for when the model is wrong. Days of data entry become a background job.
- Extraction for PDF, scanned PDF, DOCX, and slides
- An output schema you define, enforced on every document
- Job status API or webhook, and per-job cost metering
- A test suite for malformed model output
From $2,500 for one document type · Two to four weeks
The same pipeline runs in production at Little Study Buddy: upload, extract, validate, store, with 89 automated tests behind it.
Automation and internal tools
Every business has a few tasks someone does by hand every day because no product quite fits: copying orders into a sheet, answering the same question in chat, checking a queue, chasing a status. I build the small tool that takes it over, in the place your team already works: Slack, Discord, email, or a simple internal page. Hours a week come back, and the task stops depending on one person remembering.
- Slack or Discord bots with commands, lookups against your data, and notifications
- Scheduled scripts for the recurring chores: exports, checks, reminders, file moves
- Small internal web apps for the process that still lives in a spreadsheet
- Hosted on a small server that restarts itself, with thirty days of fixes
From $300 for a single automation; $1,200 and up for a tool with a database and outside data · Three to ten days
Tools in daily use by a live-selling business: an order queue that merges two storefronts, a chat bot that lets buyers claim their spot, and an on-screen overlay driven by both.
Product builds
You have an idea, or a web app that needs to be on phones, and the quotes you've seen are twenty thousand dollars and three months. I bring it to life as a working product in weeks: backend, accounts, payments, deployed and running, with the App Store submission handled. You launch with something real instead of a deck.
- Web apps on Next.js and Postgres; desktop apps for macOS or Windows; iOS via Capacitor
- Authentication, billing, background jobs, and monitoring done properly from day one
- Where the product has rules or a simulation at its core, a deterministic, tested engine so changes are measured rather than guessed
- Deployed, documented, and yours: source, runbook, handover call
From $3,000 for a scoped first version; $1,500 to take an existing web app to the App Store · Two to six weeks
Six shipped products, including a live AI study app with billing, a multiplayer game on the App Store, and a notarized Mac utility.
Hosting, infrastructure, and security
Your website, your app, and your email are the front door of the business, and usually nobody is watching it. I set it up properly and keep it that way: the domain locked so it can't be spoofed, TLS and DNS hardened, the server firewalled, backups that have actually been restored, and monitoring that tells me before it tells you. Then a monthly check so it stays true.
- Email authentication and domain protection: SPF, DKIM for every sender, DMARC with a staged rollout, DNSSEC, CAA, with a before-and-after report and a 30-day check
- Deployment on a small server or Vercel: Docker, TLS, health-checked releases with rollback
- Nightly offsite backups with a tested restore, uptime monitoring, and a firewall that closes the ports Docker leaves open
- Everything as code where it can be, so the next person can read it; a runbook for the rest
$450 for email authentication and domain protection; from $800 for a full deployment and lockdown; $99 to $149 a month for monitoring: DMARC reports reviewed, drift alerts, vendor changes handled · One week for hardening; one to three days for a deployment
Six production domains and the servers behind them run this way, as infrastructure-as-code with an automated compliance check.
How it works
- Send a few lines about the problem. I reply within a day with questions or a fixed quote.
- Half up front for fixed-price work, the rest on delivery. Hourly work is invoiced monthly.
- You get the source, a runbook, and a handover call. Nothing is locked to me.
